Summary
- Dr. Combs initially started out as a ballet dancer and received her undergraduate degree in ballet from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After pursuing a career in ballet, Dr. Combs made the transition to her lifelong ambition of a career in medicine. Dr. Combs received her medical degree from University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then returned to Fort Worth, TX where she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital. She has continued her practice in Fort Worth, Texas, as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 2012. She has always enjoyed taking care of young patients in her practice and happy to have made the transition to Cook Children’s Physician Network in 2021 to be able to provide care to young lady's full time.
Dr. Combs enjoys teaching and has worked in medical education since completing her residency. She works as a preceptor and research mentor to medical students and is an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology for the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU.
Dr. Combs is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has a focused practice delegation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is actively involved in women’s health advocacy with the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Combs is fluent in English and Spanish.
