Summary
- I joined the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Duke University after spending my first 8 years in practice at Washington University in St. Louis. I completed a fellowship at Duke University in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery, I completed a general surgery residency at MUSC in Charleston, and I earned a medical degree at the UTHSCSA.
I am involved in developing a comprehensive obesity center for Duke University. My research interests are focused on quality improvement and patient outcomes following bariatric surgery and improving team dynamics in the operating room environment.
