- Dr. Tedjarati is the Chief Clinical Integration Officer, and Clinical Professor, Chairman and Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center Health Network, a 1,700-bed system in Valhalla, New York, with 10 hospitals on eight campuses spanning 6,200 square miles of the Hudson Valley, employing more than 12,000 people and nearly 3,000 physicians. In addition to his chair and director position, He is responsible for the integration and strategic oversight of all clinical services across WMCHealth’s 10 hospitals, ensuring that the care provided across clinical services and hospitals are streamlined, coordinated, integrated with highest quality of care and experience. He is part of a team that leads the design of processes to maximize clinical efficiency, improve clinical integration and oversee the implementation of network-wide electronic health records initiative. He is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology and OB/GYN. He completed residency programs in Family Medicine and OB/GYN at The Ohio State University and fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center and Research Institute. He holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Yale University. He has been named Top Doctor multiple times. In 2017, he was honored with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations, an award that is officially recognized by both Houses of Congress as one of our nation’s most prestigious awards, including six Presidents of the United States and Noble Laureates among others. He has co-authored several publications and book chapters. He serves as an oral board examiner for ABOG. His other interests are in international health with focus on women's health and rights as gateway and nucleus for lasting and sustainable development. He has been active in various international projects. Other area of focus is principled leadership.
