Dr. Shachi Tyagi is a Geriatrics specialist based in Pittsburgh, PA, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at UPMC. She completed her medical education at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in 2003, her Residency in Internal Medicine at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak from 2008 to 2010, and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at UPMC Medical Education from 2010 to 2011. She also holds an MS in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Tyagi has experience in hypertension, urinary incontinence, long-term acute care, and geriatrics/dementia. She has published multiple papers in renowned medical journals on topics related to her field, and has been involved in clinical trials including the Behavioral Treatment of Insomnia on Nighttime Urine Production.
