- Dr. Seth Crapp is a board certified radiologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in pediatric radiology. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, & attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed an internship in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital-Harvard Medical School affiliated program, & a radiology residency at the University of Florida Shands College of Medicine campus in Jacksonville, FL where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Vanderbilt University Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital. Dr. Crapp has served in leadership roles on several non-profit boards and community organizations including and is currently vice-president of the Florida State Medical Association (National Medical Association). He is a life member of the FIU Alumni association as well as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc and serves as current Chairman of Wellness and Care for the Southern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha. He has served on committees of the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR) & the American College of Radiology (ACR). He is published in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored two books.
Dr. Crapp is a 2017 Florida International University Torch Award recipient, an honor given to distinguished alumni. He is also an Alumni Ambassador for Meharry Medical College and has established endorsed scholarships at both institutions.
In 2011 Dr. Crapp founded the precursor to South Florida Radiology which today is an independent, physician-owned, and operated teleradiology practice. The company’s aim is to practice “Compassionate radiology". Currently, the practice provides professional radiology interpretive services for imaging centers and hospitals in multiple states. Dr. Crapp also serves as Chief Medical Officer of Pediatric Teleradiology Partners.
