Dr. Serena Chang is a New York-based psychiatrist with a subspecialty in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Her medical journey began at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, graduating in 2013. She then completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, before securing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Chang is currently the Chief Behavioral Health Officer at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, a position she has held since 2024. She has also contributed to publications in her field, including "Navigating the Storm: Meeting the Needs of Transgender and Gender-Diverse Youth and Their Families in a Time of Sociopolitical Upheaval" and "Leptin and prostate cancer".
