At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Dr. Tabaie serves as the Director, Cerebral Palsy and Neuro-Orthopaedics Program, Medical Director of the Honda Gait Analysis and Mobility Enhancement Center, Fellowship Director of the Neuro-Orthopaedics Program, Associate Fellowship Director of the General Orthopaedics Program and Associate Director of the Orthopaedic Innovation Program.

    Dr. Tabaie, obtained his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. He then trained in orthopaedic surgery and clinical research at Saint Louis University Hospital. He subsequently completed an advanced fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Northern California Shriners Hospital for Children and UC Davis Medical Center, where he gained expertise in cerebral palsy treatment, child and young adult hip preservation, limb deformity treatment, club foot and scoliosis. He then showed his dedication to the field of pediatric orthopaedics by completing a second fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, where he gained further experience in treatment of children with complex limb deformities and cerebral palsy.

    Dr. Tabaie is board certified and is a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedics Association. He is a true clinician-researcher, and has presented his research regionally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Tabaie has co-authored book chapters and has over 70 published scientific articles. He is an active member of many national/international professional societies, including the AAOS, AACPDM, POSNA, LLRS, AOA and holds numerous leadership positions within those organizations, including his current role on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
