Dr. Krakower is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry at Zucker School of Medicine Hofstra/Northwell. He is President of the Greater Long Island Psychiatric Society, a District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Krakower is actively involved with national and local committees for psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction disorders. He conducts research, provides expert opinion, and lectures internationally for psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction disorders.
