Summary

  • As a triple board-certified Neuropsychiatrist, I have dedicated my life to caring for people suffering from brain diseases of all causes. Twenty years of experience in clinical neurology and psychiatry provided me with diverse opportunities to address the physical and psychological sequelae of brain diseases from Autoimmune Encephalitis to Schizophrenia.

My interdisciplinary approach uses evidence-based, results-driven treatment strategies that help me transform the lives of my patients both in the outpatient clinic setting and on the inpatient consult service. Throughout my career, I have led by keeping my clinical knowledge and skills up to date to maximize my patients wellness. My unique practice setting has allowed me to maintain my skills as a general neurologist and general psychiatrist by integrating care at the boundary between the two fields. My scope of practice includes:

    Psychiatric Treatments:
Supportive Psychotherapy, Behavioral Activation, Time-Limited Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Expert     use of antidepressants, antipsychotics (including long-acting injectables and clozapine), mood stabilizers,     antianxiety agents, and stimulants. Medical marijuana for PTSD. Pharmacological management of     Addiction. TMS and VNS for depression.

    Neurological Treatments:
Pharmacological management of Epilepsy, Autoimmune Encephalitis, Tourette Syndrome, Parkinson Disease, ADHD, Headache, Delirium, Dementias, Brain Injury, Stroke, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Cervical/Lumbar Radiculopathies.
