Summary

• Dr. Eskildsen completed his undergraduate and Master’s degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA and during this time he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Eskildsen completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was presented with the William C. Patton chief resident award. After residency, he completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
  
  At Raleigh Orthopaedic, Dr. Eskildsen specializes in joint replacement and reconstruction of the hip and knee. While non-surgical care is generally the first option, his surgical interests include:
