Dr. Bleser has served in other capacities, including the Tele-Primary Care Section Chief of VISN 10 Clinical Resource Hub, a service providing virtual coverage to eleven VA facilities in three states. His past accomplishments include CEO/Founder of Bellbrook Medical Center, Inc. and CEO/Principal Investigator at Midwest Regional Research, Inc. Combining his clinical practice and undergraduate education in Pharmacy, he completed over eighty phase 2, 3 and 4 clinical trials as principal investigator. Studies focused on gastrointestinal conditions, migraine, hypertension, lipid disorders and weight management. His research work has been noted in national journals such as Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, and The New England Journal of Medicine. He has also authored articles in national clinical and research publications. He has lectured at regional and national conferences.
