Summary
- After graduating from Southwestern Medical School, I completed a medicine residency at Cabrini Medical Center in Manhattan, a New York Medical College affiliate, serving also as Chief Resident. I then entered a rheumatology fellowship at Georgetown University, and served four years in the U.S Air Force. Since obtaining a PhD in Medical Anthropology at the University of Californie at San Francisco, I have combined clinical practice with service as a University of California clinical faculty member (Clinical Professor, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology). I serve as rheumatologist and internist at MES Solutions, a practice largely devoted to preparing independent medical evaluations of injured workers. I travel to offices in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Emeryville, Santa Rosa, and Vacaville. I am married to Camille, administrator of a residential care facility for the elderly called Renaissance Guest Home. My kids include Luke, aged 12, and Sophia, aged 16. They are really into swimming and playing piano. We live in Green Valley, part of the California wine country.
