- Sathish J. Subbaiah, MD, MS, graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a BS and MS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He earned his MD from Harvard Medical School with high honors. Dr. Subbaiah completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Harvard/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and subsequently completed a one year advanced fellowship in Endoscopic & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery with Dr. Richard Fessler.
Dr. Subbaiah specializes in minimally invasive treatment of degenerative diseases of the spine including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis (spinal instability), as well as complex neurosurgical spine disorders including scoliosis and spinal tumors. Dr.Subbaiah is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has published numerous book chapters and research articles in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery.
