- My name is Sarah Stutz, and I am currently finishing my 2nd year as a medical student at LECOM Seton Hill campus in Pennsylvania. I am in a program called “Advanced Physician Assistant Program”, or APAP, here at LECOM. I was a practicing physician assistant for 3 years prior to coming to medical school, and I have been given the opportunity to complete medical school in 3 years instead of 4 (2 didactic years and only 1 clinical year).
I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated from Missouri State University’s Physician Assistant Program in 2017. I worked as a physician assistant in a Level I Trauma Center in Springfield for 3 years prior to coming to medical school here at LECOM. Emergency Medicine is a huge passion of mine.
