Overview of Dr. Pullen
I am a Board Certified General Psychiatrist in the state of Washington. After receiving my MD at University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL, I made the move to the Pacific Northwest for my residency in psychiatry at University of Washington. I completed residency in 2016 with an area of distinction in community psychiatry. Following residency, I completed 5 years of active duty military service in the US Air Force at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho. I consider the Pacific Northwest home and returned to Seattle following my military service.
I take a collaborative and balanced approach to psychiatric care. This means first listening to you in an empathic and supportive way to fully understand your goals in seeking care. From there, we work together to establish a treatment plan. This plan may include a combination of various modalities including medication management, psychotherapy, mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise. I look at each patient as an individual and strive to provide care that addresses the individual’s unique needs.
I see adult patients (18 to 60 years) and am experienced with treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I am currently accepting new patients through telepsychiatry in the state of Washington.
