  • Sarah Bowe, MD, EdM, FACS is a pediatric otolaryngologist with the U.S. Air Force currently working as the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology with the Defense Health Agency in the San Antonio Market at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. She completed her residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. After working as a general otolaryngologist for three years, she returned to training and finished a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, as well as a Masters in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, both in Boston, MA.

    Dr. Bowe has a clinical interest in the management of pediatric aerodigestive disorders, as well as congenital and acquired hearing loss. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center and the Well-being Subcommittee Chair for the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Her research interests include medical education, trainee recruitment & selection, mentorship & sponsorship, diversity, equity, & inclusion, quality improvement, patient safety, and wellness & mindfulness.
