Her doctoral, evidence-based quality improvement project focused on providing concussion education to family practice and pediatric providers. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing through the University of Toledo where her thesis focused on helping caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease be connected with support and resources in the community. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mount St. Joseph (Cincinnati). Since graduating nursing school, Dr. Hunter has spent her career focused in neurology—first in the Toledo Hospital Neurological intensive care unit and then in outpatient neurology practicing with Dr. Loomus.
