- Sara Hocker, MD, FAAN, is a Professor of Neurology. Dr. Hocker received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, completed a neurology residency at Loyola University, and a Neurocritical Care fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Hocker served on the staff of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 11 years where she was the Hospital Practice Chair for the department of neurology, neurocritical care fellowship director, and Diversity Leader for Critical Care. Her research is focused on improving outcomes in status epilepticus and she enjoys time mentoring residents, fellows, and junior staff. Dr. Hocker has been in practice 17 years and has more than 100 publications and over 500 citings.
