- I am a hematologist and medical oncologist. I have extensive experience leading transformation and managing data driven cancer operations including financial, technological, pharmacy, resource and staff domains.
I am the Chief Medical Officer for the Clinical Institutes for Providence Swedish. I oversee five institutes; Providence Swedish Cancer Institute, Digestive Health Institute, Swedish Heart and Vascular institute, Swedish Neuroscience Institute and Women & Children's Institute.
I previously served as the executive medical director for a complex, multidisciplinary cancer center that provides the full range of services for patients with hematologic disorders and cancer. Providence Swedish Cancer Institute is the leader in cancer care in the Puget Sound Region.
I have a robust leadership track record in medical education designing curricula, building consensus, leading change and ensuring successful accreditation across the full arc of the educational spectrum. Experience includes;
• Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, overseeing 47 ACGME accredited training programs
• Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education, leading standardization and reforming curriculum at the largest medical school in the United States, across a 9 campus system
