• Dr. Sandita Seecharan is a Family Medicine specialist with a subspeciality in Geriatric Medicine. She has an extensive educational background, having studied at the University of the West Indies and St. George's University School of Medicine, securing double majors in Biochemistry and Chemistry and earning an MBA in Multisector Health Management. Her scholarly pursuits also involve completing a fellowship and residency in Geriatric and Family medicine, respectively, at United Health Services Hospitals. Dr. Seecharan has held several roles such as Primary Care Physician, Medical Director, Geriatric Fellow and Resident Physician among others, in diverse healthcare establishments. Currently, she serves as a Medical Director at several institutions and a Primary Care Physician at Glens Falls Hospital, all the while retaining her position as Student Counselor at St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr. Seecharan's experience spans areas including food allergy, chronic pain, cardiology, rheumatology, and geriatrics with published research on the role of Immature Granulocyte as a marker of Sepsis.
