- Dr. Samuel Rhee is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in the greater New Jersey and New York area. He has privileges as multiple hospitals, including Valley Hospital (Ridgewood, NJ) and Hackensack University Medical Center.
Prior to his transition to private practice, Dr. Rhee was an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Director of the Craniofacial Surgery Program.
Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Rhee's clinical expertise includes a wide range of aesthetic plastic surgery.
After graduating with honors from Duke University, Dr. Rhee received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He underwent training in general surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. He completed a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Rhee worked with renowned craniofacial surgeon Dr. Henry Kawamoto, Jr and completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UCLA in Los Angeles, California.
He regularly leads international volunteer surgical missions to countries including Bangladesh, China, and Colombia to collaborate with surgeons and to treat children with cleft lips, cleft palates and other craniofacial conditions.
