- I am current an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics of Duke University School of Medicine. I am also director of pediatric sedation services at Duke Children's Hospital. I am board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. I completed my pediatric residency and chief residency at New York Medical College, NY. Before joining Duke University School of Medicine in August 2017, I was the pediatric residency program director and Vice Chair for Education for Department of Pediatrics of University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, NV.My interests include Pediatric Hospital Medicine, graduate and undergraduate medical education, inter professional education, simulation education and observational studies to improve clinical practice in the area of inpatient pediatrics. I have a track record of serving the underserved population. I am currently on board of directors for Federation of American Societies of Experimental Biology ( FASEB) and President Emeritus of American Federation of Medical Research..
