Summary
- I am Samir Alejandro Nacer, an MD and current pathology resident at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa. My residency involves rotations through all associated hospitals, including Tampa General Hospital (TGH), Moffitt Cancer Center, James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, and the medical examiner's office in Tampa. I completed my medical education at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine and earned double Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology with a focus on Behavioral Neuroscience from Nova Southeastern University, where I also minored in Honors Transdisciplinary Studies & Leadership.
My passion for pathology, brain and women's health, and philanthropy is something I actively pursue through various platforms. I'm involved with @path_sig and @precision.sjbsm on Instagram and serve as a board member for @creativemindscare. Additionally, I share my enthusiasm for understanding the genetic basis of diseases on TikTok. My commitment to the medical field is reflected in my ongoing involvement in scientific research, and I am dedicated to advancing as a pathologist.
