- Samantha L. Margulies, MD, FACOG, is a fellowship-trained Urogynecologist specializing in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS). She is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Dr. Margulies specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic methods. She uses native tissue (no mesh) and mesh techniques. As a urogynecologist, she has training in non-surgical and surgical treatments for many pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Margulies is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS). Dr. Margulies strives to provide excellent comprehensive care for patients with pelvic floor disorders. She takes great pride in connecting with her patients and creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Dr. Margulies uses a shared decision-making model to develop treatment plans with her patients that best improve their lives.
Dr. Margulies was born and raised in New Jersey. For her higher education, she was accepted out of high school into a dual-degree, B.S./ M.D. program. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University (NY), graduating summa cum laude with a major in Biology and minor in Journalism/ Mass Communication. She then matriculated to medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, graduating in 2016 with distinction and as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. Her volunteer work during medical school was recognized with the George Washington Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, tending to her plants, playing with her dog, Rex, and traveling the world.
