Dr. Samantha Hill is a Board Certified Pediatrician and an Adolescent Medicine Physician at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Masters in Public Health Policy and Organization. She is a native of metro Atlanta and is dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents and young adults through healthcare, advocacy, and community service.
She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and conducted research at the National Institutes of Health before completing her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her pediatric residency at Jefferson Medical College/DuPont Hospital for Children before starting her Adolescent Medicine fellowship and Masters in Public Health Policy at UAB. She is a past trainee in the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH), Centers of Excellence (CoE), and Trainee Ambassador Group (TAG) programs funded by HRSA's Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
Her skill-set includes teaching high school, college, and medical students as well as residents; conducting research on HIV and long-acting reversible contraceptives, mentoring, and advocating at the national and local government levels. She is currently a co-creator of a mentoring program for high school students in Birmingham, AL.
