He founded Retina of North Texas to offer optimized treatment strategies to patients suffering from retinal disease, and co-founded CiRC Biosciences to develop next generation regenerative therapies based on his research published in Nature and featured in the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Chavala has several publications focusing on neuroprotection, anti-inflammatory activities, and fibroblast reprogramming, with some of his work being cited multiple times.
