  • Dr. Rosenbloom is the Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs and a Professor of Biomedical Informatics with secondary appointments in Medicine, Pediatrics, and the School of Nursing at Vanderbilt University. He is a board certified Internist and Pediatrician who earned his M.D., completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, a fellowship in Biomedical Informatics, and earned an MPH all at Vanderbilt. Dr. Rosenbloom is a nationally recognized investigator in the field of health information technology evaluation. His research has focused on studying how healthcare providers, patients and caregivers interact with health information technologies when documenting medical and health-related activities, and when making clinical decisions. Dr. Rosenbloom is the Director for My Health at Vanderbilt, one of the nation’s oldest and best adopted patient portals.
