  • Dr. Hafner provides comprehensive neurological disability care for adult patients affected by diagnoses such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, focal and cervical dystonia, neuropathies, painful muscle spasms, contractures, and others. His main focus is to improve quality of life and maximize physical function such as the ability to walk or transfer, hold an item, perform activities of daily living such as dressing and hygiene, tolerate wheelchair positioning, and more. Everything he does is directed by the patient’s overall goals and he utilizes a holistic and well-balanced combination of bracing and splinting, therapy, equipment, oral medications, nerve and muscle injections, spinal infusion pumps, and referrals to surgery as needed to achieve these goals.

    He maintains clinical interests in neurorehabilitation, movement disorder (spasticity and dystonia) management, musculoskeletal ultrasound and interventions, gait analysis, and 3D printing of orthotic braces.
