- Dr. Russel Hirsch is a pediatric cardiologist who is director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program and Co-director of the End-stage Lung Failure Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and completed his residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He then completed fellowships at both St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Hirsch is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and his clinical interests include hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, pulmonary hypertension, catheterization and intervention, bronchopulmonary dysplasia BPD, and rare lung diseases.
