Summary
- I am a dual board-certified hematologist-oncologist and palliative care specialist dedicated to advancing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care for individuals with hematologic and oncologic disorders. My clinical expertise and research interests focus on addressing disparities in healthcare delivery, with a particular emphasis on integrating cultural and spiritual considerations into palliative care models for Hindu adults with cancer and their caregivers as well as African-American adults with sickle cell disease.
I am passionate about improving access to high-quality palliative care by fostering multidisciplinary collaborations and advocating for equitable healthcare practices. By integrating evidence-based medicine with cultural humility, I strive to create meaningful change in the lives of patients and their families.
