Summary
- I am a pediatric endocrinologist who is board certified in this specialty as well as in obesity medicine, which is where my interests lie. I have a strong passion for treating those who struggle with obesity and its comorbidities, including type 2 diabetes. I am the medical director of the pediatric weight management and type 2 diabetes programs at Baystate Children's Hospital and am the pediatric medical advisor for Baystate's bariatric surgery program. I have developed a prediabetes clinic for patients as we have seen a tremendous increase in this condition in children since the COVID19 pandemic.
