Summary
- I began my career in academics in Buffalo, actively participating in the AIDS Clinical Trials Group through our affiliation with the University of Rochester while simultaneously practicing outpatient infectious diseases and LGBT internal medicine and clinically supervising an AIDS Designated Center as recognized by the State of New York DOH AIDS Institute. From there, I have migrated to direct clinical care of HIV in an outpatient urban family medicine setting. I have been an active teacher of medical students, residents and fellows throughout my career. I am now active in quality improvement efforts.
