• As a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Medical Group of the Carolinas Occupational Health (formerly Spartanburg Regional Occupational Health), I am responsible for the care of occupational and non occupational injuries and illnesses for our client companies. Responsibilities may include but not limited to comprehensive health history and physical examination, evaluation of fitness for duty examinations as deemed appropriate for client companies, order and/or perform pertinent diagnostic tests, monitoring and management of client with chronic diseases, referral to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other specialty deemed appropriate in accordance with the client's health condition, and suturing of minor lacerations and wound management.
