Summary
- I am a triple board certified (Child&Adolescent, Adult & Addiction) retired Army Psychiatrist. I completed two combat tours (2003-04 and 2009-10) to Kuwait and Iraq, serving as the OIC for Mental Health & as the Task Force Psychiatrist. I retired from the Army in Sept 2020 after 24 years of service. I'm now working as a staff Adult-Adolescent Psychiatrist at Campus Health Services at Northern Arizona University. I'm the sole psychiatrist as part of an integrated clinic that includes primary care, internal medicine, women's health, sports medicine and psychology counselling services to students, staff, faculty and NAU affiliates. In the COVID era I transitioned from a practice that was 90%face to face and 10% tele-health to the inverse of this. I've served as a mentor/supervisor, for PA's, interns, residents and fellows throughout my Army career. I've been doing the same for Psych NP's at NAU and wish to continue this in any future position.
