    Over many years in surgical practice, I have learned that insightful honest communication is the most important and essential element of effective patient education. A well-informed patient is best prepared to appreciate realistic surgical goals and expectations and fully participate in their own treatment decisions. It is my personal and professional commitment to provide each of my patients with sufficient time, knowledge and understanding of their desired procedure(s), so that they can feel confident with their choice to allow me and my dedicated staff to care for them.
