Summary

  • I am a board certified family medicine physician with broad clinical, research and administrative experience. For the last 3 years I have provided emergency, inpatient and outpatient services at a frontier critical access hospital (CAH) in Idaho. I am the chief of the medical staff and perform all of the responsibilities of the chief medical officer as well. We have had the #1 patient satisfaction scores for CAHs in the state for 2 out of the 3 years I have been here and have been recognized as a top 20 CAH in the nation. I also provide services as medical director for the county EMS as well as for Craters of the Moon National Monument. I am a fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Before coming to Lost Rivers I practiced in a solo primary care practice for 3 years and also worked for 3 years in an urgent care. I have spent many hours training medical, PA and NP students. I am certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS. I completed a PhD in neurophysiology at Ben Gurion University in Israel. I love the variety and challenge of clinical practice in multiple settings as well as leadership responsibilities. I am interested in increasing my role in physician leadership and development.
