His specific areas of interest and procedures include: hip arthroscopy & labral repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair & transplantation, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization/labrum & rotator cuff repair, and elbow ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction (Tommy John) and repair. His patient care philosophy is a team-based approach, where the doctor and patient work together to obtain excellent results aligning with the patient's specific goals.
He completed Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he assisted in caring for the St. Louis Blues (NHL), Lindenwood University (NCAA), and Washington University in St. Louis (NCAA) athletes. He gained additional expertise while completing fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, recognized by US News and World Report as the #1 hospital for Orthopedic Surgery. During this time, he served as a team physician for the Brooklyn Nets (NBA) and Iona College (NCAA). He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences with several awards and grants.
