- I am the Medical Director and owner of Yubadocs Urgent Care in Grass Valley, California, which I opened in August 2000. A graduate of Brown University and Weill Cornell Medical College, I completed family practice residency training at the University of California, Davis Medical Center and became Board Certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. I was elected to the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association in 2011 and re-elected in 2014. During my two terms, I served as its Treasurer, Secretary, and on its Executive Committee, and I am currently a member of the Health and Public Policy Committee and the COVID-19 Task Force. I am the Founding President of the California Urgent Care Association and currently serve as its Treasurer. I am a Founding Director of the Urgent Care Assurance Company, a risk retention group that provides malpractice insurance to urgent care centers across the country. I am also the Founding President of the South Yuba River Citizens League, one of the largest watershed-based environmental advocacy organizations in the country.
