Summary
- Roger H. Coletti, MD, FACC, FASNC, FSCAI is an interventional cardiologist who moved to Lewes, DE in 2014 after practicing in northern New Jersey for over 30 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He saw patients in the Lewes office for general clinical cardiovascular care including treatment of high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol. In office testing is available for echocardiograms, EKG's, carotid and leg artery ultrasounds, simple and echo stress testing. He has extensive experience in performing cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, coronary stent placement and treatment of arterial disease including peripheral angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement and atherectomy. In office procedures included laser treatment of varicose veins and injection of muscles to relieve chronic spasm.
Dr. Coletti became interested in the treatment of chronic muscle spasm after suffering for decades from low back pain associated with his work. He has done clinical research, has nine abstracts published in a notable peer reviewed journal "Muscle & Nerve" and has presented his work at five meetings of the American Society of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. His novel treatment, CMECD®, involves muscular injection while measuring the electrical impulses in the muscle to stop the chronic spasm. The treatment is covered by Medicare and many of the other insurance carriers. Typically one or two injections of phenoxybenzamine used off label, is all that is needed for long term relief even if spasm and pain has been present for many years. The website OpioidNO.com also gotten to at CMECD.info is physician instruction site with video's, references, presentations, publications, billing details, information to procure the medication, equipment required and essentially all information that is known to relate to this procedure. Dr. Coletti has now retired from clinical practice.
