  Ziltzer’s passion for serving as a medical weight loss doctor is born, in part, from his experience in treating people who suffered from obesity-related illnesses.
  Dr. Ziltzer earned his medical degree from the Albany Medical College of Union University and completed his combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics medical residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. He then established a medical practice in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1991, where he treated many patients suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. While treating these patients, Dr. Ziltzer observed the impact that weight loss had on these medical conditions, as well on the confidence and self esteem of his patients.
  In 1995, Dr. Ziltzer committed to specializing in medical weight loss. He is board certified by The American Board of Obesity Medicine and a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and The Obesity Society. Dr. Ziltzer has been listed as one of Phoenix Magazine’s Top Docs 2008-2018 and as one of Scottsdale 101 magazine’s Top 101 Doctors. He has also been elected to Fellowship in the College of American Physicians.
