  • I am a Board Certified (ABO - ABMS) OPhthalmologist in practice for 52 years. I received by ophthalmology training at Washington University St Louis and an additional year of glaucoma fellowship there. My practice has been limited to glaucoma and cataracts. I have lectured all over the world on the subjects, authored three books and have contributed over 120 peer-reviewed research papers. I have won several teaching awards and the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Lifetime Achievement Award. I am a past president of the American Glaucoma Society.
