Summary
- Robert A. Sirota, M.D. earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Sirota then completed his internship, residency and Chief Residency in internal medicine at Yale New-Haven Hospital and his nephrology fellowship at the Harvard service of Massachusetts General Hospital and the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has served as the Medical Director of DaVita Davisville Dialysis Center in Willow Grove. Dr. Sirota is certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension and is a member of the International Society of Nephrology, American Society of Hypertension, and Renal Physicians Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He was on the medical staff at Abington Memorial Hospital, Holy Redeemer Hospital, Jeanes Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center and Nazareth Hospital for 36 years. He has published in professional medical journals and been recognized several times as a “Top Doc” in Nephrology by Philadelphia Magazine. He continued practicing nephrology with The Center for Kidney Care in Hainesport N.J.for an additional 2 1/2 yrs and then retired from active practice. Dr. Sirota and his wife Karen have three sons, David (Emily), Jeffrey (Kate) and Steven (Joanna) and six grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Sirota enjoys spending time with family, photography and travel.
