Overview of Dr. Rothrock
I am a neurosurgeon with specialized interest and training in the surgical and radiation-based treatment of spinal tumors, as well as degenerative spinal deformity. I have completed fellowships in both minimally invasive and reconstructive spine surgery and spinal oncology.
I remain committed to academic medicine, and have an appointment as Assistant Professor of Translational Medicine and Neurosurgery at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University.
I wake up every day with a sense of responsibility and purpose to give patients hope and a plan of action during what might be the most difficult moment of their lives. I strive to help patients understand their conditions and treatment plans, advocate for themselves in the healthcare system, and preserve a meaningful quality of life.
