He completed his internship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University and his residency in internal medicine at University of Massachusetts. He served in the USAF in the 60th Medical Group at Travis, AFB. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine and subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has over 20 years experience in the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias with a focus on catheter ablation strategies for the treatment of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, sudden death risk stratification, arrhythmias in athletes, conduction system pacing, and biventricular pacing for heart failure. He is a published expert in his field on topics ranging congenital heart disease, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, gender differences in modes of death in heart failure, pacing, and public access defibrillation. He has published over 25 peer reviewed manuscripts and written over a dozen book chapters. He is currently in private practice based in Bellevue and Kirkland, WA where he focuses his time caring for patients suffering from heart rhythm disorders.
