I am board certified in orthopedic surgery with subspecialty certification in sports medicine. I attended UAMS for medical school, UMC in Mississippi for orthopedic residency and OU for sports medicine fellowship. I practiced in Joplin, MO for 17 years and then at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD for 10 years as director of Sports Medicine. I now work with UAMS Northwest Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as a team physician for the University of Arkansas. I work as a consultant to Sanford Health while caring for professional MMA athletes exclusively for Sanford MMA in Boca Raton, FL.. My wife, Deb, and I now live in Northwest Arkansas.
