- Robert Nachtigall, MD, is a retired Clinical Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco, from 1977 to 1979, after earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1972 and completing his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Awarded many teaching awards in addition to a clinical practice, Dr. Nachtigall's NIH-Funded research has contributed over 40 publications to the field, including studies on fertility, IVF outcomes, and the implications of parenting at an older age, with his work being cited multiple times in other scholarly articles.
