Summary
- After a career in anesthesiology with a focus on high risk obstetric care and on cardiothoracic anesthesia, I am now retired and working in volunteer roles. As chair of the Community Advisory Board of YMCA Camp Widjiwagan (MN), I help with strategic planning and fundraising. I'm also working with the Conflict Resolution Center, a Twin Cities nonprofit, as a qualified neutral facilitative mediator for community and family conflict. After leading Guatemala Surgery, a group of clinicians providing surgical care in central Guatemala for three weeks each year for nearly 30 years, I have passed on that role to others.
