Summary

• Bob and Elaine Greene will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary this year. By God’s grace, they have raised 4 children, who have provided for them 12 grandchildren. The children have had the privilege to live in various countries over 26 years of medical missionary service. The Greenes have studied or worked overseas in 20 countries.
  Bob is an Orthopedic Surgeon. He and his wife moved to Soddo Christian Hospital in Ethiopia on February 1, 2014 for a long-term assignment teaching and performing orthopedic surgery. (https://vimeo.com/858) until April, 2016. They concluded their overseas work in Guinea.
  As an Orthopedic surgeon, Bob has gained lots of experience with chronic bone infections and deformities. During the last 10 years, by working with the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS), he has had opportunities to teach young African surgeons. This has led to gaining more exposure to the care of traumatic injuries in Africa and Vietnam. His work was concentrated in working in PAACS hospitals teaching fracture care, especially with SIGN nails (signfracturecare.org) as well as the care of other orthopedic conditions. In 2018, after a final trip working in Guinea and Mercy Ships he retired to the West Coast of California, currently house-hunting in Palmdale.
