After serving as Director of the Cutaneous Surgery & Oncology Unit (also known as the Mohs Surgery Unit) and Clinical Co-Director of the Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Tumor Board at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Dr. Egbers moved to Broome County to be closer to family.

He founded Anew Dermatology, Skin Cancer & Reconstruction, located in Johnson City, New York. He now practices there full time, caring for patients with skin cancer and other dermatologic needs. He maintains a part time affiliation with Johns Hopkins, seeing patients there on a limited basis.

Dr. Egbers is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist and completed an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology.

He practices full-time with Anew Dermatology, Skin Cancer & Reconstruction in the Southern of upstate New York. He has appointment at Johns Hopkins University, seeing patients in Baltimore on a limited basis.
