Summary
- After training at Duke, Barnes, and NIH, I joined the Endocrinology Division at Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV) in Richmond, VA in 1983, and remained on the faculty there until retirement. My training and clinical/research interest was in calcium and bone disorders, which ultimately lead to clinical research on osteoporosis treatment. Now retired in Richmond, with 3 sons, a stepdaughter, and 5 grandchildren among the various kids. Still professionally involved as the Deputy Editor of the Journal of Women's Health, and pontificating as allowed at weekly endocrine division conferences.
